Pharmacologist/Toxicologist

Phytopharm is seeking a highly motivated pharmacologist or toxicologist to contribute to the development of drug candidates. Candidates would be expected to contribute to programmes spanning different disease areas including neurodegenerative and inflammatory disorders. Responsibilities include planning, managing and reporting outsourced preclinical studies, assisting in competitor evaluations, supporting in-licensing evaluations and out-licensing activities, and identifying potential sources of non-dilutive funding (e.g. grant writing). Candidates will need to demonstrate an understanding of at least one relevant area of preclinical sciences (e.g. pharmacology, ADME, toxicology), an ability to communicate clearly and effectively on complex, technical matters and a willingness to adapt to new projects and environments. Experience at presenting at national and international conferences would be an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS - Candidates should have a BSc in Pharmacology or a related field. A PhD in a relevant discipline would be an advantage.
